JA putty – 3 Original Putty Types
【BASIC TYPE】
BASIC is an easy-to-use putty for both light and firm press.
It has stronger tack, so if you enjoy that satisfying “pop” sound, you may really like this type.
【SOFT TYPE】
SOFT may be better suited for those with a lighter press.
Since it has a slightly softer, more pliable consistency, it may squeeze out of the placer more easily if you press firmly.
【HARD TYPE】
HARD is a firm putty, making it easy to pick up and load into your placer.
Its tack is lighter compared to the other types, so it may be better suited for those with a firmer press.
It is less likely to squeeze out of the placer and less likely to stick to the canvas.
Compared to BASIC and SOFT, the surface of HARD may develop some cracking. This is a characteristic of HARD and does not affect its intended use.
If you would like your HARD putty to become even firmer, remove it from the bag and leave it in a dry room. It will gradually become firmer over time.
(This characteristic is unique to JA putty HARD. Other putties, including JA putty BASIC and SOFT, will not change in the same way when left out.)
